Restaurant Chairs for Commercial Dining Rooms

An operator looks at a chair twice: is it comfortable for a guest who stays through a long dinner, and is it easy for staff to clean at closing? The two questions often pull in opposite directions. A well-upholstered chair marks easily, while a wipe-clean one can feel cold in the room. We balance them against how your restaurant actually runs.

There are four main types. A stackable upholstered chair on slim metal legs clears quickly in a banquet room. A low-arm chair with a half-round back suits restaurants where guests linger over dinner. A solid beech chair with a slatted back and upholstered seat is light and right for casual cafes. A fully upholstered banquet chair that links and stacks is made for ballrooms and meeting halls.

Chairs from our residential dining collection can be specified in contract fabrics too, so a model proven at home arrives with upholstery fit for heavy restaurant use. Upholstery is available in Crib 5 (BS 5852) or CAL 117 rated fabrics; the test report ships with the fabric batch. A test report to the contract seating standard EN 16139 is prepared on request. Our fabric library runs up to 100,000 Martindale rubs; for restaurants we recommend the highest grade. We work with customer's own material (COM) and state the required yardage with the quote.

We have our own factory in Modoko, Istanbul, where the timber and collection chairs are built; the metal-frame chairs come through our supply programme from manufacturers we have chosen. We make a full-size sample before the series, and production starts when you approve it. Shipping is quoted FOB Istanbul, CIF or DDP.
