Iasos Chair

Iasos is a dining chair with a terracotta fabric curved back and seat on a light beech-toned solid wood frame. It takes its name from Iasos, the coastal city of Caria. The back curves as a horizontal band at shoulder height and sits on the extensions of the rear legs; the lower back is open. The seat, thickly upholstered, widens toward the front without overhanging the frame. Light wood and terracotta together give a warm Mediterranean note. The upholstery colour is chosen at order; the same frame is also made in neutral tones.
