In 1981, master craftsman İbrahim opened a modest workshop in Modoko, Istanbul's largest furniture district. With nothing but a deep passion for woodwork and an uncompromising eye for quality, he began handcrafting pieces that would soon attract attention far beyond the neighborhood.
The factory established in 1981 has been continuously modernized into a full-scale production facility. The production discipline, hand-selecting each piece of timber, training the next generation of masters, refusing to rush any joint or finish, remains unchanged. What started as one man's vision is now carried forward by a dedicated team of specialists, each in their own discipline: wood, upholstery, metal, and finishing.
Today Archidecors builds for private homes, villas, hotels and offices in Turkey, the Gulf, Europe and the USA: loose furniture for the Grand Soho Hotel in New York, FF&E for 12 villas at Katara Hills in Doha. The pride is the same as on day one: furniture that is still in use twenty years on.
The philosophy is short: a room has to work for the people who live in it, not just photograph well. Every piece leaves the factory with its maker's hand in it.

The Beginning
İbrahim opens the first Archidecors workshop in Modoko, Istanbul. Hand-built furniture for local homes and businesses.

Responsible Manufacturing
Sustainable Materials
We work with long-lasting solid wood, recyclable metal accessories and low-VOC finishes. For projects that require FSC-certified timber, we source it accordingly.
Waste Reduction
With CNC technology, we keep material waste below 15%. Wood scraps are sent to local energy facilities to be converted into energy.
Energy Efficiency
Our facility uses LED lighting, energy-efficient compressors, and solar-assisted heating systems.
