Hierapolis Chair

Hierapolis is a dining chair with a grey fabric-covered curved back band and a wide upholstered seat on walnut-toned solid wood legs. It takes its name from Hierapolis, the ancient city at Pamukkale. The back curves as a horizontal band at shoulder height and leaves the lower back open; the opening lightens the chair and lets the band support the back exactly where it should. The seat widens slightly toward the front. The legs splay outward beneath the seat for a wide, stable stance. The upholstery fabric is chosen at order.
