A guest reads the quality of a hotel in the first seconds inside the door, and then again from the seat they wait in. The same furniture has to do both jobs: look right across the room and stay comfortable through a long wait for a room. That is why we start a lobby conversation with how the space is used, and only then with how it should look.
The range includes round seating islands that work from every side, curved modular sofas that run in a snaking line or close into a circle, straight lobby sofas with firm seats, enveloping lounge chairs and large ottomans. The same pieces work as commercial lounge seating in waiting areas; groups are planned to the floor area and modules are added side by side.
Upholstery is available in Crib 5 (BS 5852) or CAL 117 rated fabrics; the test report ships with the fabric batch. A test report to the contract seating standard EN 16139 is prepared on request. Our fabric library runs up to 100,000 Martindale rubs; for lobbies we recommend the highest grade. We work with customer's own material (COM) and state the required yardage with the quote.
Our own factory in Modoko, Istanbul builds the sofas and ottomans, while chairs and seating islands are sourced through our supply programme from manufacturers we have chosen. Before the series we build a full-size sample or a mock-up room, and fabric and colour are only locked once you approve it.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum order for lobby furniture?
There is no fixed minimum for factory-made pieces; the quantity is stated per quote. One seating island and a full lobby are priced the same way. For items from our sourcing programme, any quantity condition is stated plainly in the quote.
Which fabric standards do you offer for lobby seating?
Upholstery is available in Crib 5 (BS 5852) or CAL 117 rated fabrics, and the test report ships with the fabric batch. A test report to the contract seating standard EN 16139 is prepared on request. For lobbies we recommend the highest abrasion grade in our fabric library.
Can we use our own fabric?
Yes. We work with customer's own material (COM) and state the required yardage with the quote. Segmented and curved pieces use more fabric than flat ones, so it helps to confirm the yardage together before you order.
Can we see a sample or mock-up before production?
Yes. We build a full-size sample or a mock-up room before the series and start production after your approval. That lets you judge how the fabric sits in your lobby light and how high the seat feels.
How is lobby furniture shipped abroad?
We quote FOB Istanbul, with CIF or DDP on request. Lead time and quantities are confirmed in writing with the quote. We plan packing and container loading to the delivery point of the project.
