Lobby & Lounge Seating

Aspendos is a round seating island built for the middle of a lobby: a segmented upholstered ring on the outside and a tall circular back ring at the centre, all standing on a brass-tone metal plinth. It is named after Aspendos, the ancient city near Serik in Antalya, famous for its Roman theatre. Because the seat is cut into segments, the surface moves with a soft rhythm and the seams draw the shape. The back ring runs all the way around, so guests sit facing outward in any direction and nobody has to face a wall. The plinth lifts the upholstery off the floor and keeps the piece looking light. We source it through our supply programme from a manufacturer we select. In hotel lobbies and wide waiting halls it gives the room a centre without cutting off circulation, and groups can sit facing each other. Our fabric library runs up to 100,000 Martindale rubs; for lobbies we recommend the highest grade. Fabric type and colour are chosen at order.

Our Design Studio takes a home, villa or hotel from floor plan to handover as one team: site survey, concept, photorealistic 3D visualisation, material selection, production in our own factory and installation on site. You see this piece in your room, in the finish you chose, before anything is made.
