Letoon Chair

Letoon is a dining chair with a hand-woven natural rattan seat and back on a light solid wood frame. It takes its name from Letoon, the sacred sanctuary of Lycia. The weave forms a tight checkerboard inside the straight wooden frame, and because seat and back share the same weave the chair reads as one piece. Rattan breathes, stays cool in summer and deepens toward a honey tone over the years. Cross rails between the legs stiffen the frame, and the armless form lets the chair slide fully under the table. The same frame exists as a bar stool, the Xanthos.
