Kytoros Guest Room Table Set
Hotel Guest Room

Kotyora is a bed drawn for hotel rooms. Behind the mattress rises a wide headboard wall in walnut-toned timber, and in its centre sits a dark brown upholstered headboard pad made of vertical panels. On either side of the pad there is a floating bedside unit with a drawer. It takes its name from Kotyora, the ancient name of Ordu. We make it in our factory in Istanbul. The bed base rests on a recessed plinth, so the frame reads as if it does not touch the floor, and the space beneath stays open for cleaning. Because the bedside units do not reach the floor, a mop passes under them easily, and a lamp and a phone sit right beside the bed. The drawers have no handles; a recess along the edge takes the finger. The vertical panels soften the back rest, so a guest does not lean against hard timber. Upholstery is available in Crib 5 (BS 5852) or CAL 117 rated fabrics; the test report ships with the fabric batch. In standard rooms and suites the bed sits against the long wall, and the headboard wall doubles as the wall panelling. Timber tone, upholstery fabric and colour are chosen at order. We set the bed size and bedside height against your room plan.
