Hotel Guest Room

Elaia is a dressing table drawn for hotel rooms. The body is walnut-toned timber. On the top, between two timber uprights, stands a round mirror with a timber frame, and a low upstand rises along the back edge of the top. Three drawers sit side by side beneath it. It takes its name from Elaia, the ancient harbour town near Zeytindağ in Aliağa, İzmir. We make it in our factory in Istanbul. The back upstand stops bottles and boxes from dropping behind the table against the wall. The drawers have no handles; a recess under the middle drawer takes the finger, so nothing protrudes to catch. The four legs are square in section and join the top with a softened corner, and each leg ends in a small brass-toned cap that keeps the timber clear of the floor and of cleaning water. The underside is open, so a chair or stool slides in easily. It stands in a room corner, beside the window or on the wall opposite the bed, and can double as a writing desk when needed. Timber tone and mirror size are chosen at order. We set the table length and drawer layout against your room plan.
