Hotel Guest Room

Akmonia is an armchair and ottoman for a reading corner in a hotel room, sold together. Both are upholstered in cream woven fabric. The armchair has a high, softly curved back, and the arms are edged with a walnut-toned timber rail. It takes its name from Akmonia, the ancient city in Ahmetler village, Banaz district, Uşak. We make it in our factory in Istanbul. The timber rail wraps the top edge of each arm along its full length; it protects the spot where fabric rubs most and hides the upholstery seam. The seat cushion reads as separate from the body and ends in a defined piping. Armchair and ottoman stand on slim, tapered timber legs, and the gap near the floor makes mopping easier. The ottoman sits close to the seat height of the armchair, so a guest can stretch out at the window. Upholstery is available in Crib 5 (BS 5852) or CAL 117 rated fabrics; the test report ships with the fabric batch. It belongs in a standard room corner, by the window and in a suite sitting area, with a side table and a floor lamp beside it. Fabric type, colour and timber tone are chosen at order. We set the size and the ottoman height against your room plan.
