Kios Island Banquette
Banquette & Booth Seating

Troia is a half-round booth drawn for restaurants and hotel lounges. The inside is upholstered in beige woven fabric, and the outside is a curved back made of vertical timber slats. A slim timber rail frames the top edge of the back. It takes its name from Troia (Troy), the ancient city in Çanakkale. We make it in our factory in Istanbul. Seat, back and curve flow into each other, and the seam lines in the fabric run vertically along the back. A slim bronze-toned metal plinth sits at the base and keeps the timber and fabric clear of cleaning water. The slatted outer face still looks right when the booth is placed in the middle of a room; its back does not read as a blank rear. The half circle around a table separates the group slightly from the hall and gives a conversation its own corner. Upholstery is available in Crib 5 (BS 5852) or CAL 117 rated fabrics; the test report ships with the fabric batch. Fabric type, colour and timber tone are chosen at order.
