Ephesos Wall Banquette
Banquette & Booth Seating

Kios is a double-sided island banquette that stands in the middle of a room. Two seating sections sit back to back with a walnut-toned timber divider rising between them, closed at the top by a flat timber shelf. The upholstery is a green textured fabric. It takes its name from Kios, the ancient name of Gemlik in Bursa. We make it in our factory in Istanbul. Each side has a long seat with soft corners and separate back cushions set into the timber divider. The divider separates the two sides, and the shelf on top takes a glass or a plate. The seats stand on short round timber legs, and the open space beneath makes cleaning easy. As an island it divides the room with its back and does not need a wall. It is used as a room divider in large restaurant halls, hotel lobbies and waiting areas. Upholstery is available in Crib 5 (BS 5852) or CAL 117 rated fabrics; the test report ships with the fabric batch. Fabric type, colour and timber tone are chosen at order.
