Ephesos Wall Banquette

Ephesos was drawn as a straight restaurant banquette that runs along a wall. One section is repeated to reach the length you need. Each section has its own seat cushion, its own upholstered back cushion and a slim timber back panel, all on a solid timber frame with tapered legs. It takes its name from Ephesos, the ancient city at Selçuk in İzmir. We make it in our factory in Istanbul. Because every section is identical, the banquette shortens or lengthens to the wall, and if the plan changes you add or remove a section. The back cushions are low and soft-edged, and the timber panel behind them finishes the top edge. The timber frame shows as a slim band under the seat, and the open legs make sweeping underneath easy. Run along a wall in a restaurant or hotel dining room, it gives each party a semi-private row and keeps the floor orderly. Upholstery is available in Crib 5 (BS 5852) or CAL 117 rated fabrics; the test report ships with the fabric batch. Fabric type, colour and timber tone are chosen at order.
