Apameia Two-Seat Lobby Sofa
Lobby & Lounge Seating

Synnada is a long, three-seat, backless bench drawn for hotel lobbies. The seat cushion is made of three sections, upholstered in dark green woven fabric with a fine, dark contrast welt along its edges. The cushion sits inside a solid walnut frame on square legs. Beneath the frame is an open slatted shelf for guests' bags. It takes its name from Synnada, the ancient Phrygian city at Şuhut, Afyonkarahisar. We make it in our factory in Istanbul. Because it has no back, guests can sit from either side, and in front of reception or in a corridor it does not block the line of walking. The three-section cushion divides the long surface into three seats, and the welt protects the edge where wear starts. The slatted shelf lifts suitcases and bags off the floor, and its open build is easy to wipe. The square legs and the frame are solid walnut. Upholstery is available in Crib 5 (BS 5852) or CAL 117 rated fabrics; the test report ships with the fabric batch. It stands opposite reception, in an elevator lobby or along a corridor; two benches placed back to back make an island seating group. Fabric, welt colour and walnut tone are chosen at order. We set the bench length against the plan of the space.
