Pitane Back Bar Unit

Pitane is a one-piece back bar unit with a base cabinet and an upper shelving section. The lower part is walnut-toned timber with four doors, topped by a dark stone worktop. Above the worktop rises a back clad in vertical timber flutes with slim bronze-toned metal shelves. It takes its name from Pitane, the ancient name of Çandarlı in Dikili, İzmir. We make it in our factory in Istanbul. The base cabinet keeps bottles, crates and spare glassware out of sight, and the stone worktop gives a tough surface for ice buckets and prep work. Part of the shelving is a stemware rack where glasses hang upside down, which also fixes the visual centre of the unit. The shelves sit at different heights so a tall bottle and a short tumbler do not compete for the same shelf. The fluted back makes a warm backdrop behind the bottles. It is used in hotel bars, on the service wall of a restaurant or in a wine bar. Timber tone, worktop stone and metal finish are chosen at order. We set shelf spacing and width against your bar plan.
