Hotel Reception Desk and Bar Counter Manufacturing
A hotel reception desk is the main counter where guests are welcomed and staff work; a bar counter is where the bartender works and guests sit. Both are built to measure, with room for equipment and lighting worked out from the start.

Building reception and bar counters around the space
The reception desk is the first thing a guest sees and the first place they speak to someone, so it needs a face for the guest and a working side for staff. A desk that looks good but has no room for the computer, paperwork and phone draws complaints in the first week. We therefore talk about the working layout first and the surface second.
The front of a hotel reception desk is marble or fluted timber, with a guest counter above, a working counter below, a concealed LED light channel and a lowered section for accessible service. A bar counter is modular: straight and corner modules, a marble top, a vertical timber slat front, a foot rail and equipment bays at the back. A waiter station adds a work surface, a drawer, open shelving and a closed cabinet in the same finish as the dining room furniture.
Desks and counters carry no upholstery, but the lobby chairs or bar stools beside them do, and settling the fabric once keeps the scheme consistent. Upholstery is available in Crib 5 (BS 5852) or CAL 117 rated fabrics; the test report ships with the fabric batch. We work with customer's own material (COM) and state the required yardage with the quote.
We build desks and counters in our own factory in Modoko, Istanbul. We take site measurements, draw the equipment bays from your list, and build a full-size sample or a mock-up module before the series. For export we quote FOB Istanbul, CIF or DDP. Lead time and quantities are confirmed in writing with the quote.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum order for reception desks and counters?
There is no fixed minimum for factory-made products; the number of desks, counters and stations is stated per quote. A single desk and a whole hotel fit-out are priced the same way.
Can the desk and counter be built to our space?
Yes. Desks and bar counters are measured to the project; module count, height, equipment bays and the light channel follow your drawing. A lowered accessible section can be added to the design.
Which front materials can you use?
Marble and fluted timber are the main options, and we use vertical timber slats on bar counters. Material and finish can be confirmed together on a sample piece. We confirm the detail in writing in the project quote, so you can check it against your specification.
Can we see a sample module before production?
Yes. We build a full-size sample or a mock-up module before the series, and production starts after your approval. Production does not start without that approval, and changes to size, fabric or finish are far cheaper at sample stage than on the series.
How are lead time, export and warranty handled?
Lead time and quantities are confirmed in writing with the quote, and warranty terms are stated there. Shipping is quoted FOB Istanbul, with CIF or DDP on request. We plan packing and container loading to the delivery point of the project.
Need a different size or material?
Send the dimensions and a photo of the room; every piece here is made to order in our own factory.
