Reception Desks & Bar Counters

Tyana is a bar counter built from modules. It takes its name from Tyana, the ancient city in Niğde, south of Cappadocia, whose ruins lie at Kemerhisar. Straight and corner modules sit side by side and draw a line to suit the floor plan. The top is marble, and vertical timber slats run across the front. A foot rail below meets the guest's foot, and we leave bays at the back for equipment. In a hotel bar or a restaurant bar, lengthening the counter or turning it round a corner needs no redesign; you add a module. The bartender keeps equipment out of sight at the back, and the guest leans on marble. Marble pattern and slat colour are chosen at order. We make it in our Istanbul factory. Lead time and quantities are confirmed in writing with the quote.

Our Design Studio takes a home, villa or hotel from floor plan to handover as one team: site survey, concept, photorealistic 3D visualisation, material selection, production in our own factory and installation on site. You see this piece in your room, in the finish you chose, before anything is made.

Carrara, Calacatta, Emperador, travertine and onyx: which marble suits which piece, how it compares with quartz and how often the surface needs sealing. Practical notes from our factory.
