Herakleia Breakfast Buffet Island

Herakleia is a buffet island that stands in the middle of a hotel breakfast room. The body is walnut-toned timber with rounded ends clad in vertical flutes. On top sits a dark brown stone top and, above it, a second stone shelf raised on two stone blocks. It takes its name from Herakleia, the ancient city on the shore of Lake Bafa on the Muğla and Aydın border (Latmos Herakleia, Kapıkırı). We make it in our factory in Istanbul. The middle of the body holds open compartments and a single drawer with a curved finger recess above it. The open compartments keep plates, glasses and baskets to hand, and staff can reach them without going round the back. The raised stone shelf lifts hot dishes and labels to eye level. The base stands on slim bronze-toned metal legs so the body floats above the floor, which makes sweeping and wiping easy. It is used in hotel breakfast rooms, brunch restaurants and open buffet layouts. Stone type, timber tone and metal finish are chosen at order. We set the size against the room flow and the service plan.
