Seleukeia Counter Stool

Counter-height stool with a low back and dark fabric upholstery on a metal frame, seen from the front
Zoom

Seleukeia was drawn as a counter-height stool: lower than a bar stool, with a low upholstered back. It takes its name from Seleukeia, the ancient city at Silifke in Mersin province. A counter is lower than a bar, so a bar stool sits too high there. This stool puts the guest at the right height, with knees fitting under the counter edge. The low back holds the waist without limiting arm movement. A guest waiting for eggs at a hotel breakfast counter, a cafe customer working on a laptop for an hour, a couple seated in front of an open kitchen all use the same stool. We choose fabric and colour with you against the venue palette. Lead time and quantities are confirmed in writing with the quote.
