Korykos Lobby Coffee Table
lobi sehpaları

Myrina is a set of two coffee tables drawn for hotel lobbies. The larger, lower one is solid walnut, with a soft rounded-corner top, a thick rounded edge and thick cylinder legs. The smaller, slightly taller one has a pale marble top on a single slim walnut column with a round foot, and its top reaches partly over the larger table. It takes its name from Myrina, the ancient Aeolian city near Aliağa, İzmir. We make it in our factory in Istanbul. The two tables can be pulled apart and placed separately; in front of a lobby chair one carries a glass and the other a book or a phone. The thick rounded edge leaves no sharp corner for a passing guest's knee or a suitcase coming through the door. The marble top is impregnated and wipes clean. The cylinder legs and the single column carry no rails or cross braces to get in the way of floor cleaning. It fits a waiting area, between a corner sofa and an armchair or between two sofas. Walnut tone, marble and sizes are chosen at order. We set the heights of both tables against your lobby seating.

Our Design Studio takes a home, villa or hotel from floor plan to handover as one team: site survey, concept, photorealistic 3D visualisation, material selection, production in our own factory and installation on site. Oak runs light honey, walnut runs deep chocolate: color, Janka hardness and durability compared across 7 wood types in one table.

A niche, a ceiling beam or an uneven floor is where made to measure pays off; in a rented flat ready-made usually does the job. Nine criteria compared.
