Samosata Round Lobby Coffee Table
lobi sehpaları

Korykos is a wide, low coffee table drawn for hotel lobbies. A thick, pale travertine top sits above a solid oak body made of two long open compartments, divided in the middle by an oak partition. A thin, bronze-toned shadow line runs between the top and the body. It takes its name from Korykos, the ancient city at Kızkalesi in Erdemli, Mersin. We make it in our factory in Istanbul. The stone top is impregnated so a glass leaves no ring, and it cleans with daily wiping. The open compartments hold magazines, books or the hotel's brochures, which keeps the top clear. The body rests on short square feet, and the gap near the floor stays open for sweeping and mopping. The thick top and solid body sit heavy and steady when a guest leans on it or bumps it. It belongs in the middle of a lobby seating group, in front of a waiting island. Timber tone, stone and size are chosen at order. We set the table height against the seat height of your lobby chairs.

Our Design Studio takes a home, villa or hotel from floor plan to handover as one team: site survey, concept, photorealistic 3D visualisation, material selection, production in our own factory and installation on site. Oak runs light honey, walnut runs deep chocolate: color, Janka hardness and durability compared across 7 wood types in one table.

A niche, a ceiling beam or an uneven floor is where made to measure pays off; in a rented flat ready-made usually does the job. Nine criteria compared.
